Sale of an Antique Business

This is my first time blogging, so please bear with me. I have been looking at a friend's blog, Shelley from Sweet Pea, for quite sometime and decided I would give blogging a try. Things have been crazy around here for the last few weeks. I have had an antiques booth in Renninger's in Mt. Dora, Florida, for about 15 years and finally decided to give it up so hubby and I could travel more in our little Airstream travel trailer. March was my last antiques show! Imagine my surprise when a long-time shopper stopped by the booth around 3:00 p.m. on my very last day and asked if I wanted to sell ALL of my stuff! After taking some digital pictures to send his daughter in Arkansas, she and I conversed several times over email and the phone before finalizing the deal! She and her dad are coming on Saturday to pick up everything! What a surprise this is to be able to sell everything at once! Hubby will be so happy to have his garage back! Me too, actually! It will be nice to be able to go into the garage to work on a project and actually be able to get around! And the very idea of parking a vehicle in the car! WoW!! What a concept! It's going to be quite a change for me, but this will allow my hubby and I time to travel. It will be interesting to see what direction my interests go in from here. I love to craft and will continue with that, then we'll see what happens. It would be fun to hear from other people that have stopped one business and got involved in another that was also gratifying. I hope to hear from lots of you! Have a great day!
